Well it’s taken awhile but I finally have a new look for the JD site Care Blog. The new look comes froman awesome tutorial from Nettuts. Which uses WP-Query and the 960 grid system to make a newspaper theme. I have alot of changes to make and things to add. But i felt I have enough work for it  to be used.

Things are realy starting to pull itself together pretty good.
Over the next day or so we will be expanding the site to a new level.
Attached to jdsitecare.com will be a modstore.
Mods for different scripts will be posted free/paid mods such as dolphin, wordpress, joomla etc.
If you wish to have a dolphin install done and want some mods to go with it, going through the mod list could help you get what you need on your website.

Jason is hard @ work making tutorials. He is writing step by step instuctions for all the popular scripts. So far he has completed a Dolphin installation ebook, It will guide you through the installation of Dolphin. He’s now working on an ebook for the installation of osDate. All the ebooks are being tested by Catherine to see if they are easy to follow. So they can be installed with no trouble.

I have been slow in developing a free wordpress theme. I took a week of vacation to visit my family in Newfoundland. Now I am back in Calgary I will get back to making my first free theme. I am considering using the 960 grid System to lay out the theme. I will work in a Theme options page so the colors and some other options can be changed within wordpress. I am undecided how many columns will be used, or it will be a newspaper or magazine style.

Wow, it’s been awhile since an update has been added to the jdblogs.
We’ve been working very hard at showing our clients and future clients what exacly we can do.
With the Dolphin Community Builder we have been adding new stuff to the site to so you can see how it works, get an idea of what your site could look like etc.

I am currently working on a wordpress theme to be released free. I have made two themes so far that are in use. One is on this blog, the other is in use on Malewail. I find building custom Wordpress Themes a challenge. This will be the first theme that I will be releasing to the public. If anyone has any suggestion to what they would like to see in a free theme feel free to leave a comment. Check back soon to see the progress of the theme.

Hello folks.

It’s been alittle bit since we last wrote so here i am today writing out our progress in jdsitecare.
Alot hasn’t been done to the site latley so it may not seem we’ve been doing alot of site work.
We’ve put alot of time into the site, it’s done, live and ready to go, so now it’s time for us to get out the word more and more.
Over the last week or so now we’ve been working on the adverting end, getting word of mouth around.
We’ve also been doing little bits of behind the scene work on other sites we will be clinching on to jdsitecare.co but that wont be for alittle while yet.
We will keep this blog updated to give out our progress reports so if you’re interested in knowing what we’re working on, what our progress is at and more.
