Image via WikipediaI am currently working on a wordpress theme to be released free. I have made two themes so far that are in use. One is on this blog, the other is in use on Malewail. I find building custom Wordpress Themes a challenge. This will be the first theme that I will be releasing to the public. If anyone has any suggestion to what they would like to see in a free theme feel free to leave a comment. Check back soon to see the progress of the theme.

The one thing I look for most in a theme is customization. If a theme is free, and I see 10 other blogs using it… I’m not likely to implement it on my site. If I can very easily make a few changes to make it look unique, then I am a very happy guy.

Thanks Daniel, hopefully I can make a customizable theme. Something that’s at least unique.

There are so many good wp themes available, but there is still plenty more creativity left.

By the way, what version of WP are you using on here?
I quite digg the “WP Ajax Edit Comments” plugin you have. Am wondering what version of WP it runs on?

I am using the 2.6 version of WP. The WP Ajax Edit Comments is a great plugin.
